The Jonathan Newell Band formed officially in the summer of 1997 as a trio performing acoustic-rock classics and original songs by Jonathan Newell. The JNB has evolved into a 5 piece Rock-n-Roll act featuring Jonathan Newell on electric guitar, piano and vocals, Jonathan’s wife Jennifer on lead and backing vocals, his brother Rob on keyboards, his brother Paul on drums and Randy McGeoch on bass guitar. They perform Rock-n-Roll classics from such 60’s and 70’s acts as the Doors, Grateful Dead, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin and Led Zepplin to the pop sounds of the 80’s through today. They work clubs from Albany to Plattsburg, New York and clubs throughout Vermont and southern New Hampshire.
